Awe-Summm!

Thank you very much Nanny from The Good Life for thinking of me while giving out this award & Congratulations to you for receiving it, too!
As part of receiving this award, I'm suppose to post 7 awesome things about myself... & I agree with you, Nanny, I haven't given a thought to being awesome, so I had to think a while on the subject.
So, here goes...

1. I think it's quite awesome how I've just recently developed (if you will) a bundle of PATIENCE! I've been having a hard time lately, but I've managed to keep my wits about me &... lots of PATIENCE! They've really just came out of nowhere! THANK GOD! I needed it!

2. It's awesome how close I've gotten to my family - not that we haven't been close in the past, but we've gotten closer the past couple years & I think that's awesome!

3. I think it's awesome that I've been able to buy a house. That's an accomplishment, in my opinion, & I think a big pat on the back is in order - Awesome!

4. I think it's awesome that I've taken such an interest in photography & that my abilities are coming along nicely - And also that I've managed to keep my blog going for over a year now! That's quite awesome for me! (I have my brother, Brian over at Terrell Texas Daily Photo, to thank for getting me into blogging)

5. Also that I like things done a certain way - I keep things put up, clean, & in place.
I have a few mottos & here's two that I'll give ya right now...
Everything's gotta place, put it in it!
When in doubt, it's dirty!
They're not really big deals, but they mean a lot to me around my house.

6. I've become a reader - I used to hate reading w/ a passion, but the last few years I've really gotten into reading... mostly Dean Koontz - I love his books.

I really can't think of another one, so I'm gonna go ahead & pass this along now.

1. Betsy @ Joyful Reflections - I truly think this woman is Awesome & I don't even know her personally, but I love how happy & cheerful she is & how lovingly she talks about her husband, George at Senior Moments.

2. Betty @ Meditations on the Next Phase - Betty is a sweetheart & has had a rough go of it lately & I want her to have this award to help her think about the good in her life too!

3. Kathy - Oklahoma Booklady - Kathy has been very nice to me & she's been visiting my page for quite sometime now - She always has nice things to say about my pics & I appreciate her - Thank you Thank you, Kathy!

4. Mary Beth @ Small City Scenes of Stanwood - MB has been visiting my page for a while too & she shows photos of those beautiful Washington mountains - I love them, MB!

5. Michele @ The Rocky Mountain Retreat - This woman is AMAZING & AWESOME - This is a no brainer that I'd give her an award - We all love you muches & bunches, Michele!

6. Rose @ Pics & Pieces - Rose has been visiting my page the longest, if I'm not mistaken. She's a very nice woman (with an ADORABLE grandbaby girl) & she's stayed up late to help me figure out blogging problems - Thank you sooo much, Rose! She keeps on top of the situation w/ my grand-daughter & I so appreciate that. She's a top notch woman & I consider myself lucky to be her blogging friend!

7. Shelley @ Northern Michigan Experience - Shelley has also been very nice to me - She also asks how it's going w/ my grand-daughter & I appreciate those who think about that & for taking time out of their lives to care enough to ask! It means a lot to me!
