Watery Wednesday & Sepia Scenes

This week, I'm posting both Watery Wednesday & Sepia Scenes together.
This photo was taken Sunday March 29th at my parents farm - It's my sister, Jessica, & my grand-daughter, Jillian.
The photo isn't black & white, it's a very light sepia.

UPDATE: We have 2 more baby sheep on the farm born early this morning on April 1st - No, this isn't an April fools joke!

These photos are NOT my best - the sun was shining bright & I didn't want to move to the other side of them, (where I could have gotten better shots) because I didn't want to scare them off - They were relaxed and I wanted them to stay that way!
Plus, Jilly wasn't there yet & I was excited, waiting for her!

We Got To See Jilly Today!!!

We've gotten to see her twice in one month!!! I can't hardly believe it!

She was watching the fishies being fed - She was so excited!

She's taking a ride around the pond w/ Pawpaw & Aunt Jessica in the golf cart.

Pawpaw was talking to her & Aunt Jes was trying to zip her sweater - It was a tad chilly out, but a beautiful, bright, & sunny day!

She was watching Shawnee (mom's Australian Shepherd) run around & jump in the pond chasing a stick - She kept calling Shawnee "Dumb Dog" hehehe

It was a very good day - We all enjoyed playing w/ her sooo much! She got to see the new baby sheep too!
I'll have more pics tomorrow of my baby grand-daughter Jillian!!!

EARTH HOUR - I spent this hour, for the most part, texting my brother in Texas & cousin in Missouri! I also played w/ my 3 cats, & wondered what everyone else was doing.

New Addition To The Farm

Yesterday, one of the momma sheep at my parents farm had a brand new baby girl!

She's only about 8-9 hours old in these photos and she's sooo cuuute! The momma is Lamb Chop & my mom is thinking they'll name the baby, Easter.

Now, the bad news! Another momma sheep at the farm had a set of twins (the same day - yesterday) that were having problems being born, so my mom had to take her to the vet, but the twins both died.

But, now, some more good news! Another momma sheep at the farm had another set of twins that are both healthy and doing just fine! I'll have pics of them later, I haven't made it back out there again, yet!

So, in 2 days, there's been 5 baby sheep born - 2 died, but there's still 3 that are going to have a great life "Down On The Farm"

How To!?!?!

I need some help with something. Does anyone know how to make a photo the background pic on a blog? I've tried googling background generators & they're not working, I think those are probably only for myspace pages. If anyone knows how to do it, I'd appreciate your help!!!

UPDATE!
I finally found a site Space Pimping (what a name, huh?!) Upload your photo, adjust the drop down boxes as to where you want the photo to appear in the background on your page, (such as Top, Bottom, Center, etc..) then click the "Generate Myspace Background Code" button & it comes back w/ a code that you enter into an HTML/Java Script gadget on your blog & click save - There you have it! The photo becomes your background!
Yay!

I had sent Justin a text yesterday & didn't hear back from him, so I sent one to K today (I abbreviate her name because she doesn't know that I have this blog & I don't want my page coming up if she was to google her name - It's a unique name). Finally, Justin text back saying that Jilly has strep throat & had a temp for 48 hours. He thought she was just cutting another tooth until last night she stopped taking fluids, so he took her to the doctor today. He apologized for not getting back w/ me yesterday - so, that's a start... hopefully!

Notice Jilly wave bye bye when K asks her if she said bye bye when Jilly was playing on K's phone & notice Jilly pat K's leg to let K know she wants to sit on her lap. JJ is what Jilly calls herself & there's 2 pictures of her under the glass of the desk they're sitting at, so when K picks Jilly up & Jilly sees her pics on the desk, she immediately starts saying, "JJ - JJ". It's just sooo cute!!! When ya don't get to see your grand-child very often, ya tend to notice every little detail of what they do. That's my mom in the background saying, "She's everywhere, she's everywhere!" meaning that what few pictures we have of Jilly are everywhere!!!

Oh No Oh No!

When I got to see Jilly on March 6th, I shot 3 videos - This is one of them. My mom is the one holding Jilly to keep her from falling off the counter at work. K, my daughter, is standing next to her & Justin is standing just out of frame on the far right. This is the 1st time I'd seen K in almost a year and she came into the office acting like everything was just fine - I just don't understand it, but I got to see Jilly & that's what I was concerned about!!!

Board Of Directors?!!

Don't forget to go over & say "Hi" to my mom, Peggy at Stout Farms, I just started a blog for her last Friday! Be patient, she'll respond to your comments, but it may take her a while - she's busy w/ her horses a lot & she works on the farm out there too - They have the place looking like a park!

I found a poster one time w/ all horses butts showing that said "Board Of Directors" & this photo reminded me of that, except... this is sheep! LoL!
It's actually a picture of my parents farm w/ a few of mom's sheep as the CEOs!
If you click on the picture, you will see 2 of mom's horses in the background - or their tale ends, I should say! Boy, I'm just full of it tonight! hehehe

I have to pass along some movie information - Do NOT watch the movie Burn After Reading! I rented it (because it has Brad Pitt & George Clooney in it) over the weekend, but just got around to watching tonight & although there was a few pretty funny parts, it just wasn't their best work!!!

I started a ticker at the top of the page to help keep track of how long it's been since I saw Jilly - I keep a journal on that whole situation, but I don't want to look at that everyday to keep track, so I thought I'd do the ticker thing instead. I'm tellin ya, my patience are wearing thin w/ her daddy (Justin) not returning my calls! I've called him once & sent one text since the day I saw her & that's plenty of time for him to have called me back!

Mom's Flowerbed

I should have taken this shot a couple of weeks ago to compare it to what it looks like now, but I didn't. However, I'm gonna take another shot in a couple weeks or a month to see what it looks like then compared to now. When this flowerbed is in full bloom, you can see the dirt from all the flowers - Then, I'm gonna practice taking close up shots of the flowers... something I'm NOT good at.
The picture I posted yesterday was taken a couple summers ago - Not recently! Sorry I didn't mention that then.

Crazy

More Chihuly blown glass at Shaw's Garden! I always wonder what inspired Mr. Chihuly to make the glass in all these different & crazy shapes!?! Where'd he get the idea to make these shapes?

Well, speaking of crazy, the weather here IS CRAZY!!! Yesterday, it was 74 & Thunderstorms - Tomorrow, SNOW & 34!!! Can you believe that?
What kind of crazy weather are you experiencing where you live?

My Baby Grand-Daughter

YES!!! I got to see my Jillian today!!! Justin (on the left) brought Jilly by work today to see me!!! I'm totally on Cloud 9 right now - I got to see her AND I have new pics of her AND I have some new videos of her! She saw her picture in a screen saver on my computer & said, "Ah JJ". Justin said she calls herself JJ! hehehe
