I was at my parents farm over the weekend & took lots & lots of new pics. I was able to get a few sunset shots that aren't too bad, for me!

Scenic Sunday

My parents went to a friend's wedding in Las Vegas a few weeks ago & here's some shots that my mom took of the airport. I keep forgetting which hotel they stayed in, but these photos were taken from the 8th (I think) floor. I would call mom & ask her, but it's midnight & she'd skin me alive if I called & woke her up! LoL!
You have to understand that my parents are NOT the type of people to go to Vegas and the only reason they went was because our friends chose to get married there, but they said they had fun, so I'll take their word for it.

Experimenting & Munchin' on Hay

The other day, one of the members, John Roberts, of The World in Black & White, sent a tutorial to me after I asked him how to enhance my black & white photos, because his are always so nice. I've started experimenting & although it takes quite a while to do what this tutorial says, I'm actually having fun w/ it. It even works on color photos as you can see from this photo above.

Now, I realize I have a lot more practicing & experimenting ahead of me to get the brush strokes evened out, but I don't really think it's all that bad for my 1st time. What do you think? Be honest, please! I really like experimenting w/ photo editing - The digital camera I have doesn't have all the fancy settings, so I have to do something to enhance my pics!

You've noticed by now that I changed my template again. I apologize for changing my page just about every time you all visit, but I missed the larger pics & there's so much wasted space w/ the smaller template on this 22" wide screen (I made sure when I bought this computer that I got a bigger screen & this one is HUGE - to me it anyway!) Then again, I'm going to miss my b&w header photo of Jilly & my mom holding hands too though, but for the life of me I canNOT figure out how to center a picture on my page when I have this stretch template applied. If there's anyone out there that can help me, please let me know! I want my header photo back!

Also, I've had to turn word verification on due to a relentless "someone" that keeps leaving a sex link in my comments - so bare w/ me & hopefully this person will GO AWAY!!!

Guess Who We Got To See Today?!

I know these pics are very similar, but she's just sooo cute - I couldn't help but post several! Mom & I went to Walmart after church & we ran into Jilly with her daddy & pawpaw - So, we were actually able to see her on Easter! We couldn't believe it - we never run into them.
Justin (Jilly's daddy) said that she's been cuttin' teeth the last few days, so she's been cranky - but, she sure didn't act like it! Anytime we've ever seen her, she's been the best baby ever! He also said that they took Jilly to get pics made of her w/ the Easter bunny, but he said Jilly went nuts - she was terrified of the Easter bunny & couldn't sit on his lap. Poor baby! I really don't think they get her out much, so that might have been why she was so scared of him.
Well, GOD Bless Jilly & Thank You GOD for us being able to see her again!!!

1st Year Anniversary

Today is my 1st year anniversary of blogging! I'm posting the 1st picture that I posted that day! My sweet grand baby Jilly!

I took this pic when Jilly was at the farm, March 29th - We had a lot of fun that day running around the farm, showing Jilly the newborn lambs, feeding the fishies at the pond, & riding the golf cart. She's sooo sweet & I love being around her!!!
