An Alleyway's Texture

I like the original best, but I'm having fun experimenting w/ textures.
This was taken in the alley between US Bank on the left & The Daily American Republic newspaper building on the right.
Butler County Courthouse is the four story building straight ahead w/ the green roof.

Watery Wednesday - Sling-Shot Shawnee

My mom was on the back porch of the house at the farm & had a sling-shot she was playing w/ using the tennis ball you see in Shawnee's mouth... Shawnee's favorite toy.
I'm struggling for a watery photo here, as I'm in dire need of getting out to shoot more water shots.

Wispies

Papas grass, but I call it 'the wispies'
I had a beautiful photo of 'the wispies' w/ a sunset background, but I can't find it & I know I transferred it to my computer & I've already deleted it off my camera.
"IF" I find it, I'll post it.

Sepia Scenes - Sepia Sunset

To be honest, I think I like the original photo better, because the light of the sunset seems to make the shot, but I still wanted to post the sepia version - I just really like these barn scenes in sepia.
What do you think?
And who's ready for autumn? I sure am! I'm ready fall colors & cooler temps!

Watery Wednesday - Main Water Fountain

My uncle is the one that gets to Missouri Botanical Gardens in St Louis to take these pictures, so the credit of the shots go to him... all I did was enhance them.

Sepia Scenes - Cowboy Parking Only

I've added a grainy texture to this photo - it just looked too plain without it.
Thank you, everyone, for all your comments yesterday - I appreciate you all!

Thurs Aug 13th is my granddaughter Jilly's 2nd birthday.
God bless you, Jillian Rae, we love you very much!
I've added a slide show of her photos above for this occasion.

Have a great Sepia Scenes Day

Watery Wednesday - Shaw's Fountain

The bottom photo was another shot taken by my uncle at Shaw's Garden & the top photo is another of my attempts at HDR. I know some of you said you didn't like HDR, but I gotta figure out how to do it & do it right, before I give up on it.
However, this time I did something a little different. In Windows Vista, there's a Hightlights button in the picture viewer & I set it somewhat to the left of center, which also causes a 'glow' just like HDR does. Then I ran the pic through Photomatix for the HDR effect. I didn't like the light colored brick on the ground in the original & wanted it darker for an almost wet look.
What do you think?
