Sepia Scenes - An Old Time HHR

Tuesday February 2nd 2010

Not really old time... this HHR belongs to a co-worker & is actually pretty new, but I think it looks good in sepia. Shot last Friday during the snow storm.

You're right...it does look cool in sepia. I've never thought to try putting some of my stuff in b/w or sepia. I'll have to try that out some time. I love and miss snow so much...I know you're probably over it already...but for Midwest transplants like me really appreciate when folks like you post your snow photos...puts a smile on my face...so thanks for sharing!

Looks great in sepia. Well done!

Great picture---but due to the snow, mine looks more B&W than sepia... I do like it though.
Hugs,
Betsy

Tricia, this is wonderful in sepia...and the snow...perfect.

BTW, I put another little video of Lorelei on my blog.

Yes indeed. It's perfect! You captured it at the right moment...falling snow flakes, a bit of light, and built up snow on the side of the are. Perfect! Thanks for visiting me!

Hey I like this shot. An old 1930s gangster shot. Watch out for the machine guns. LOL MB

That picture is making me cold!

I like the sepia toning for its added warmth to a very cold looking shot. Nice capture of each flake...hard to make "snowing" look this good!

Great shot! Sepia was a wonderful choice for this one! :o)

This is one of those new "old" cars...which I find so very interesting! Why buy something that looks like it was made in the 1930s?

To each his own, though.

Love the shot. Brrrrr!

Glad you like the webcam...it's kinda fun watching the traffic and people!

The HHR is styled to look old, like a 1949 Chevy Suburban. So, since old days seem live here, nothing like the sepia to add the look of an old print. Wonderful!

It does look nice in the monochrome, with the snow fluttering around it--not sure what an HHR is though.

I like that you caught all those snowflakes in the photo too!
