Textured Country

Here's the 1st photo I experimented w/ using texture, (my Sky Watch Friday photo w/ texture was the 2nd one)... I'm not gonna go hog wild w/ it, but I've seen lots out there in blog-land & just wanted to try it out... I'm not really sure what photo texture is even suppose to look like & this one is probably too bright, but I think it looks pretty cool.

It does look very pretty, like a tuscan painting.

The only thing you need to ask with any photo is whether or not it's pleasing to the eye. I like how this came out. Keep on playing with different effects.

It is very long last that I have seen a picture I have liked so much Tricia!! It is STUNNING!! That texture goes so well with the photography. This is one of those I would love to frame and believe me, I do not see many I would like to do that with. Well done!!

That does look like a painting...very neat!
I am back Tricia...I just got too busy with life and wasn't taking many pictures.

It's super cool! Great job and this could easily be framed and hanged!

Reminds me of a "throw" over a sofa...

Re: you're comment on Florida Fotos - "Gnarly"? Heh, heh. I immediately had this picture of an old western movie where one of the dance hall girls asks another about one of the cowboys. She spits in the dirt, and says, "Well, hell, he's a purty nice guy but a little bit gnarly!"

Have a great day!

It's lovely, looks like a tapestry and would be fabulous hanging on a wall.

I really like this one Tricia! I don't think the texture is too much, I think it has a very interesting effect. I'm not too sure how to describe it... but I like it. ;o)

Your photography is lovely, Tricia--I'm glad I found your delightful blog via your comment on Joan's (SA Photographs). This experiment turned out very well, I think.

Love it! I've seen canvas sheets that you can print on, I wonder how this would look? Hey, you just might be the next impressionist!
