Watery Wednesday - Frozen At The Farm

Credit goes to my mom for this photo, I just converted it to b&w - not that there was much color to it, because it's a winter scene,
but I'm pleased w/ the result.
Thanks mom!
Watery Wednesday!

BTW - The birdhouse from yesterday's post was man made & there are a few residents from time to time,
but not as much as w/ regular birdhouses! smiles =)

Your parents' farm looks gorgeous any time of the year! This is such a dreamy winter scene, and perfect in black and white.

Happy Watery Wednesday! I hope the rest of your week goes by peacefully, Tricia.

I am loving all the winter photos since snow is not something we see here. However, 150 miles up the road in Flagstaff, at 7,000 foot elevation, they have gotten their share this winter too!

so pretty! the way the rock in the foreground is covered in snow - it looks a little like a small frozen wave, very cool!

Kudos to mom! It's a delightful shot and so very well composed...that little wagon wheel adds just the right touch. Beautiful job all the way around! This is one that you might want to frame and hang!

Thanks for you very sweet comment on Cedar Key DP, Tricia...much appreciated!

Beautiful photo and I like the way you framed it. I know it takes a little time to do the framing. I was out in the woods "winter wonderland" and several of my "color" photos really look like BW LOL

THis would make a stunning framed print or a greeting card. The black and white highlights the grayness of the water perfectly!

Nice shot, Mom. It is really beautiful--everything just right.

Yes it is framable or better yet enlarge it to 8X10, frame it and enter it into the County Fair this summer. MB

It made a fine, high quality black and white image. Very successful image.
