Camera Critters - Sheeba

Hello All! I'm LiL MaN!
sleeping on the job!

Remember a while back when my Tricia showed ya'll pics of Sheeba & told you that she'd been taken away from drug dealers?
(click over & see her hip bones)
Well, Miss Peggy has been working w/ Sheeba to get her back in shape cuz those stupid people had pretty much just abandoned her.
The hair on her tail & mane had been whacked off... horses NEED their mane & tails to swoosh flies & bugs off themselves!
She's getting some meat back on her bones & now she's really filling out - but, she's out of shape, so Miss Peggy runs her in the round pen to get that fat turned back to MUSCLE!
Don't you just love Sheeba's colors!

I've been granted the Sunshine Award from Gardendiggers! Thank you very much for thinking of me!
Gardendiggers passed this award on to 10 recipients, so here goes my list, too.

and 12th, too! I just can't choose a few from all the blogs out there,
it's just too hard!

Hi Tricia, It's hard to imagine how anyone could have neglected that horse---or any of our beautiful animals... Makes me so mad!!!!! Glad Sheeba is doing better now though... She is gorgeous!!!

Betsy

Well I am glad Sheeba is doing so much better.
In the picture of her in her stall did you notice the antlers above her head. I thought maybe she was a standin for Rudolf the reindeer. Haha!!

Thanks for the award. How nice of you to think of me. MB

Hi Tricia and LiL MaN,
So glad to see that Sheeba is on the mend and making progress. It's difficult for me to understand why some people neglect their animals.

I love the first photo of Sheeba, inside the barn. She looks like she is wearing antlers! (I can see they are on the wall above her.) =)

Congratulations on receiving the very appropriate Sunshine Award. You do bring sunshine to all of us with your gorgeous photos!

Thank you for including me as one of the recipients. I'll be honored to display it in my sidebar.

So glad that Sheeba is being well-taken care of! A beautiful animal, for sure. Nice shots. I did a double-take on the first photo--it looked for a minute like she had horns growing out of her head! :-)

Thank you so much for the award, Tricia. We appreciate your thinking of us and presenting this to us. But, we've decided not to take any more chain awards in that take up a lot of time which we don't have...

Hope you'll understand. We are truly grateful for your friendship and kindnesses!

Like others, I was immediately drawn to the antlers on the horse's head. For a minute I thought we had a new animal!

I'm with the others. The shot with the antlers cracked me up! It's nice to see she's putting on a few pounds.

God bless your momma, sweet LiL MaN, for taking very good care of Sheeba. She looks like she's well on her way to recovery. She is so lucky to have found a home with all of you.

And like everybody else, that photo of her with antlers made me smile. Please tell Sheeba that it's a little too early for Halloween. ;)

Hi Tricia! Thank you SO much for the award, it's such a pretty one! I love sunshine. :o)

The top picture of Sheeba - the one where she's looking out of her stall - made me blow pepsi out my nose. It looks like she has antlers! How awesome! I'm so glad that she is getting better, and receiving the care she deserves!!!

Tricia, Sheeba is a beautiful horse, and I'm so glad she has someone to love her and take care of her now. It irks me that people can be so cruel to animals.
Thank you for the award - you are so sweet to think of me. Sending spring your way....!
