I like this current version very much. The pee-a-boo is still the prime content, but the processing adds much in this new version. Nice border effect too.
the new template i have is the new blogger designer templates. if you are using blogger draft it comes up as another option after templates in the layout section. it's really awesome...you can change everything, width with sliders, move all the columns around just where you want them. i dont' think i'll ever need to look at a premade template again...i can just play with this endlessly. there are 4 designs, each with 4 colors then most of the are customizable from there...have fun...can't wait to see what you do...although i really like the template you're using now!
Well, as my mother used to say, "Are you happy now????"
Heh, heh. I do remember this shot...liked it then, like it now. Keep messing ...
... photography isn't reality, it is merely a snapshot of a moment in time and that snapshot is a reflection of the camera, the shooter, the lighting, etc. And it is gone in an instant...
... thus a photograph is always more the vision of the photographer than anything "real."
... some people consider themselves "purists" if they don't "touch" a photo when it comes digitally out of the camera ... but all of the above applies...there is nothing "pure" about any photograph right out of the camera.
... we knew that back in the days when I processed all my film and my prints...we spent hours in the darkroom, cropping, color-correcting, sharpening, contrasting, etc.
... the machines at Walgreens did all that automatically ...
... today, digital photos are processed the same way. In fact, the cameras do a lot of processing as the picture is taken.
Anyway, all I wanted to say is I'm glad you have "seen the light" so to speak and I want you to know that your "messing" around is what photography's all about as you bring us your very unique vision of a particular scene.
Your edits are great - you've got the 'right touch' so to speak and I never feel as though you've carried a photo on your photoshop skills alone... does that make sense?
Anyway... you're great with a camera and your editing is always fun too. What I really like about the more recent edit of this shot is the cropping, I think it brings the horse way more in to focus.
Tricia...i kept my widgets, when i saw in the draft that everything was there i went for it. usually with new tempates you lose them...but obviously blogger has addressed that and it's fully compatible...that's what i like best, because it's easy to change again in the future.
i find it's not always on my layout tab...i going to guess they're still working on this as it's all new. i also had to wait a day or two to go back and make adjustments.
most pages have a link to the template designer at the bottom of the page..don't forget to check
here are a couple of sites i've used in the past..

I don't remember anything wrong with the original version, but this is simply beautiful.
Beautiful capture - I like the monochrome processing and the vignetting.
Very nice photo with a "animal" touch.
He is so cute - beautiful shot! Nice effect.
