We rarely get snow this deep in Southeast Missourah, so this shot had to be shown!Shawnee, my mom's Australian Sheppard.
Scenic SundayFor those wondering about my 'Jilly situation'... my daughter, Kes' birthday was Feb 28th (she turned 24) & my mom took a bday card to her work, but she wasn't there, so she gave it to her supervisor. Kes called mom a couple days later & thanked her for it & they made plans to go to lunch this past Friday. Mom & dad wound up going together w/ her for lunch & Kes actually said she'd bring Jilly to see them - she'll have to get permission from Jilly's daddy 1st though, cuz he's the one that has custody of Jilly! Mom's hoping this is a start to a new beginning!
We'll see what happens!

I don't think many of us escaped the snow this winter, Tricia... Great picture of Shawnee.
Hugs,
Betsy
Isn't it funny how dog just love the snow. We don;t get much snow out here but when we do the dogs love it. they run and roll and stick their faces in it. they are silly.
Nice picture of Shawnee and the new snow. MB
the woods remind me of Harr Potter
Oh Trisha--how wonderful. I hope it works. I wanted to email you but don't have an addy for you.
Where does all tis leave you. I mean if your parents get to see Jilly--will you. Hold on to your heart. MB
I think most of the USA turned white this year! Great photo! It sounds like things might be turning around. I send healing wishes and prayers for a good outcome. Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P
Love the doggy in this shot, and we'll be keeping our fingers crossed.
Oh, Tricia, I hope it is the start of good things to come. I was just thinking about her earlier this evening. Wondering about you/her but not wanting to ask and bring pain.
He is alone and scared....nice pic
I love this shot. Our daughter's golden (in Colorado) has a great time running through deep snow.
Hope that all turns out well re your family situation.
Tricia: Doesn't look like the dog minded the snow.
I think Shawnee enjoyed the snow more than I did. I certainly hope we've seen the last of it for this winter. I also hope things work out so you can see Jilly more often.
I love the effect of the trees in the background. Looks like doggy doesn't mind the snow!
Poor dog will be getting a cold tummy! That snow is very deep.
Do you know, your the only person who has ever mentioned the paws walking across my blog header! It is just a animated GIF, I am not sure where I got it from, but I save such things when I see them. You can add most anything to your header or side bars, but they don't always stay animated, I put a burning candle on side bar but it no longer flickers, so its just trial and error.
The Bluff area, I assumed it was New Zealand's Bluff but not with all that snow, so can I ask, please where is your Bluff area? Missourah is that Missouri, maybe.......
He does look like he is having fun !
Such contrast in weather ! Here we are already experiencing the start of a hot summer !
Thanks for your visit and especially for taking the time to comment .
Hope you will visit again

Sweet capture!
Lovely shot! I hope things work out for you.
Aw! What a cutie! Hi Shawnee!!! We *had* lots of snow this year but it's already almost all gone! I'm sure we'll get buried again before the end of March. It always happens!
Looks like the snow doesn't slow Shawnee down one bit ;-)
Wonderful shot!
Hugs and blessings,
It is beautiful - and I'll bet Shawnee loved every moment of it!
Ohh..just read the second part of this. I'm SOOO hoping this is the new beginning for all of you!
I swear Shawnee looks like my neighbor's dog. :)
It was 66 here today so I'm hoping we won't see anymore till next winter.
I sure hope this is good news about Jilly. My heart and prayers go out to you and your parents.
