Hey Betsy, I was thinking of you the entire time we were there walking around the falls, I knew you'd love it! I've been having problems w/ pics loading, too, not sure what the problem is. Thank ya much!
A wonderland, especially for a young boy...I remember these kinds of places in the Minnesota of my youth...thanks for bringing back the memories. Superb photos, too, Trish!
Hi Jacob, these pics don't do this place justice, it was really beautiful there, especially in the glory of all the fall colors! There wasn't much water running down the falls, but I know the water was up because there's suppose to be an island in the middle of that pool at the bottom of the falls!
I saw this WW post. :) What a great place. Somehow I wonder why this rock are clean from vegrtation. The stream does not carry that much water. But good shots to remember a great day by.
Water here and water there, Water, water everywhere! Water to restore the soul, Water in a cup or bowl; Water gushing in the sink, Water clear or dark as ink; Water in the stream and bog, Water for the newt and frog; Water to refresh the wheat, Water washing dusty feet; Water chasers everywhere With loud praises do declare That there is no finer thing— Water is both queen and king!
