Week ♥11♥ Name Change... Barn Charm!

This one took a while to get the color of the barn right...
it was a funky looking brown color, so I fiddled & faddled, adjusted here, edited there & ended up w/ this
more country looking brown - I love it now! =)
I wish I had a real blue sky as a backdrop, but no such luck...
I cropped out a lot of the white, though!

Last week I asked everyone what they thought of changing the name of this meme to
'Barn Charm' & you all said you liked it,
so... it's official!
Welcome to Barn Charm!

I like your barn as you processed to get the color you liked. The deep color makes it even more interesting.
Fine job of shooting.

Good job on the color...sometimes those old red barns fade into that murky reddish-brown...

Nice post, too.

I did link my Colorado barn to your meme...

Have a great day!

Hi tricia,
The barn on my blog is a barn that the local teens decorate when a friend or classmate dies--car wreck etc. I have posted it before but maybe I will again. It is kinda sad because so many die in car wrecks. MB

Oh I forgot to mention---I am fortunate not to live in Stanwood itself or the valley. I live about 12 miles north and east of Stanwood up in the hills--what you call mountains. LOl MB

I like that barn, and the contrast of the green. I had a lot of white sky in my shot too!

That's a nice looking barn! I'm always on the prowl for barns. I see some barn-style houses up in our local mountains and I would LOVE to be able to afford to buy one!

Tricia said...

You're not kidding, Cheryl, me too! =)

Hi Tricia.
This is a lovely photo. I long for summer which is far away. We have snow and minus 20 degrees celsius. I guess it´s about 70 in fahrenheit. It´s too cold to take pictures so I guess it will take some time before I can participate in Old Barns.
Hope you will have a nice day.
