Camera Critters - Great Blue Heron
I found this guy while wandering around an area on the river
near Round Spring in Southeast Missouri
and watched him for the longest time... so handsome!
He took his time crossing that lil stretch & he wasn't scared of me, either!

Scenic Sunday - Alley Spring & Mill

Alley Spring & Mill is, by far, my favorite place anywhere around here -
I could spend days exploring the grounds!
I don't want to shove the history of the place down your throats, because you're probably not as interested in it as I am...
I just want to shove the pictures at ya! =) LoL!
Wikipedia:
The scenic Alley Mill, or "Old Red Mill" is located 6 miles west of Eminence, Missouri on Hwy 106
and is part of Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
The first mill was built in 1868, but the current Alley Mill was built in 1894 & originally painted white.
