The Creative Exchange - Wilcox Tracks

Wilcox Road in Poplar Bluff, Missourah

I have no idea why that pole is leaning over so much,
seems like it's been that way for a looong time.

More experimenting - Mouse Over this one, too, to see original

This is great Tricia. I love it! Never heard of that story, but it would sure fit this photograph. Looks really deserted, and not sure I'd want to be there at night!!
Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.
Have a wonderful evening!

Hi Tricia, Great picture of the railroad track... Yes, we all have our stories about things that happen on or near railroad tracks..

Hugs,

The long pull of the tracks say 'follow me' in it's own hypnotic way.

I like the original--not so sallow. MB

Love the tones in the processing.

So normal thing like tracks but you have made it art, I really love this picture:)

Interesting image - the leaning pole seems to echo the trees on the other side of the tracks, lending a kind of symmetry to the photo. Nice work!

A fine shot. I like the convergence of the rails. The roll-over is very interesting. Nice shot.

Beautiful! I have a a "thing" for railroad tracks. :)

Neat Tricia. We walked the railroad to school for years so this looks very familiar.

another great one!!!
Years ago I lived in south Arkansas and so much land was owned by the Wilcox....you made me think of that!

Wow! I really love this photo! I've taken some photos of rr tracks while visiting Oregon, but this is really lovely! Even in the desert from Las Vegas to California I've seen those poles leaning over like that, but I don't know why either! Have a great rest of the week & thanks for visiting my blog! :-)

Nice colour tweak - it goes from unforeboding to far more welcoming .... although welcoming might not be such a good idea, given where you appeared to be standing to take this shot! :D

Tricia, your post processing on this is PERFECT. I love it and think it adds so much to the overall mood of the photo.
