This is the same old barn, but I love the dark wood, the budding tree beside it,
& the hillside background...
These old structures were on the same property
& I think they deserve some of the spotlight, too! =)

I may not post until around 7pm CST thru Spring & Summer.

27 Charmers Say?:
Your hills look like our hills. On our drive yesterday we saw so many barns, ones that were tucked along the bottom of the hills, much like these are.
Awesome shots, great composition!
I don't have a barn image this time, but I enjoy stopping by to see yours and others posted. Very nice!
Tricia, I love the spring green on the tree against the surrounding brown...and love all those buildings!
What a lovely property with an abundance of charm. : )

Wonderful old buildings, and nice spring colors. We are still spotted with white here in NY.
Thanks for the invite...this is fun :)
Beautiful old barns!
Those are some wonderful barns!
My first thought on the top picture is "it has wings!"
It looks like you braved the overgrown wilds to bring us these charming photos.
Hi,
I followed Andrea from Rural Revival over and am so happy I did! Love your blog! Hope it's okay that I linked to an old post(?). Spring brings busy days and little time for blogging but I was eager to join your fun party. Now I'm off to meet new friends through the beautiful links!
Thank you for hosting and sharing!
hugs,
Leslie
Beautiful setting! It looks like before too long it will be hard to find all those buildings in amongst the foliage.
Beautiful shots of some awesome barns. I'd love to see them in a month or so when all is green.
Tricia....your images are so wonderful! I'm envious of the budding trees, too. Can't wait.
These images would look beautiful in frames.
Great contrast - the old brown amidst the emerging green - superb shots !
Tricia, you have captured anouther fabulous barn, Thanks for all the work you do to host his meme.
I like your three barns all situated together. The one with the "wings" is very unusual but would be a good shelter. The setting for them is spectacular with the light trees and limbs that makes the picture light and airy feeling. Nice ones!
Lovely photos Tricia !!!
The nature is very nice !!!
Greetings
I love your photos of the barns. They are so idyllic.
Greetings from Switzerland

The colors in these pictures are just wonderful. Great capture.
What a neat place. I love the dark wood in the first two pictures. the setting is beautiful as well.
As we drove through Wisconsin and Iowa last weekend, we saw lots of lovely barns! Now I wish I had stopped to photograph them! I love you Barn Charm meme!
Great capture, Trisha. Aren't we lucky to have so many old barns to photograph? :)
I love places like this. You wonder what stories these building could tell and maybe a deer or two still get shelter from storms in the lean tos. And how many birds nest there still? Life will go on. MB
Nice photos, Tricia. I like the various angles, the lighting, the settings, too. It's a good thing you got these shots now 'cause I don't think that ol' barn's gonna last much longer.
'Course "they" say that about me, too, but I plan to stick around for a while - just to bug 'em1
I always like how you make a simple, old barn very pretty. ^_^
Barn Charm
Hi Tricia!
What a wonderful blog you have. I'm so glad you stopped by and left a message today and thanks for the invite to take part in Barn Charm! I'd love to take part in that...now I just need to find more barns to take pictures of ;) You live in a beautiful state...I haven't seen too much of Missouri...mostly the southwest portion and into Arkansas but what I've seen I LOVE. I'm from British Columbia Canada and I miss the forest and the trees..I think that's why I love where you live. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you'll come again. Have a wonderful week!
Maura :)
Man, what a difference some green makes!
