Barn Charm ♥30♥

Taken 2 weekends ago just east of Poplar Bluff... my daughter was here while I was editing & when I applied the 2nd texture, she loved it & said I had to post it... so, here it is! =)
Mouse Over the 2nd image to see original.
We just had a tornado pass thru the area & we're still under tornado watches...
Still not sure if I'll be able to work tomorrow... practically everything is shut down,
especially on the south side where I work.
It's been raining sooo hard since I got off work 2 hrs ago, so the flooding can only get worse!

So sorry to hear about your scary weather. Wish we had some of your rain: our gardens are drying up after ten weeks of not a drop.
You are getting me hooked on barns now - never gave them a second glance before.

This barn has withstood many storms over the years and I bet you will too.

Nice shot but I must say while the fussed with one is ok I do like the original best. MB

Your barn this time is a marvel for its fine wood textures and general style. It's elegant and proud looking. Nice post.

Tricia, as you know the St. Louis area has been having the same kinds of weather. Hope you are safe.

Love your barns this week. I wanted to join your group this week but there is no Mr. Linky that I can find. I will check back in the morning to see if I can link up.

But, my post can be found here:http://cashjocky.blogspot.com/2011/04/what-difference-day-makes.html

I love them both!!

Saw Cape on the news this morning...really, really bad.
We lucked out again last night...one went just north of us and one just south...whew! I dread tonight cause it's not gonna hit until late in the night. Guess it will be a sleepless night!

Tricia just read about the flooding in your area. Hope your safe. I have family not far from there and they might be have to evacuate also.

Tricia....I can't imagine living with tornadoes! I think the texture on that magnificent barn is wonderful!

We have high water in the valley, but the river doesn't really threaten anyone; only a few access roads are closed.

Saz said...

What lovely photo's. What do you use for your photo editing?

Also, stay safe! Hope it passes quick with no tragedies!

Rose said...

I love that with texture, too--I am still not on my own computer but see I have a lot to look forward, too. Thanks for signing mine up.

Well, you answered my tornado question in this post. That's what I was afraid of. Are you folks OK? On high ground?

Lovely shots, both of them. You know me, I like creative processing!
