Barn Charm ♥34♥

I've been doing a lot more texture experimenting...
All taken May 19th 2011
Mouse Over all to see original or another version

I'm also participating in Texture Twist
over at Life-n-Reflection this week, too...
I've gone a lil texture crazy this week, I know, but it's just so much fun! =)

Hi Tricia! I so hope that you are out of danger where you are! I LOVE those giant vine-covered silos! To me, it's a statement about how aggressive vegetation can be. It's beautiful, too.

I love the ones you have, Tricia, and I really one looking over the old trailer made from a truck bed.

Beautiful barn pictures, Tricia. Your photos are always awesome.

Hope you didn't get that bad weather which devastated Joplin.

Your texture work adds to much to the uniqueness of your images. That must be lots of fun. Nice series before the texturing. I'm wondering if you're in for more rain and stormy weather in your state.

I like the one in the third and fourth photos. It reminds me a bit of one on my grandparents ranch when I was a kid.

I love the middle photo with the yellow flowers in front!

Tricia - I love, love your BARN header photo! Fun to join your "Barn Charm" meme again this week but now I'm running out of barns....
Your texturing technique is cool and artsy!
Kind regards from the Rotary International convention in New Orleans

Wonderful images and really great work with textures!
Hoping you haven't been affected by the bad weather.

Barns have such character. The textures definitely work well with the barns. :)

Neal said...

Very nice. Of course you know how much I like barns. :)

This post is a winner...come pick up your blue ribbon! The barn, etc., is charming, your photos are charming, and you are charmin'!

Re your comment about the round house. I would have a very difficult time living in such a place. I'm usually going around in circles anyway but when I run into a wall I can stop. In a round house I'd never stop! Right?

Just beautiful Tricia!
Your processing on these is wonderful.

Great photos Tricia, love the textures, especially on the silos!

Wonderful shots. I love how some of the barns peek out from their surroundings.
