oh, you dear girl! barnage and fencery are going to make it into the next dictionary issue if we're not careful!
(and plethora is one of my favorite words...)
this poor old dear has seen better days! wow! a good wind could take it down!
WoW trica...how is this still standing!!
i love the old rooting wood and the texture of the boards!!
great news about landon :)))
So glad our prayers were answered for Landon, Tricia.
This barn is magnificent ... she wears her beauty so elegantly.
Have a lovely eve ~

These are amazing!! Wonderful color and textures!!
Each shot is more awesome than the next! Great shots!
i fear if a strong wind was to come along it would blow over. but such a great sight. (:
Pretty bad condition...makes you wonder how it's still standing. Great shots n love your edit on the last one!
That poor barn! It needs some work...
Love those colors and textures, Tricia.
Now that is quite a barn. It looks like a piece of artwork the way you photographed it so beautifully!
So glad that Landon is doing better!
You found a great barn! I love the way the barn wood is showing and the other siding is peeling off.
Awesome work, Tricia. You turned these dilapidated barns into work of photographic art. I love the processing technique you used whatever is it. Each one is impressive in its own way. Am so glad they are still standing so you could photograph them. Thank goodness Landon is better. I know you were so concerned. genie
This old barn is just peeling off in layers, isn't it!
I too like the word "plethora" and one of its antonyms, "dearth."
I don't know, I'm loving the beat up look of this barn. I'm so glad to hear Landon is doing wonderfully.
Wow, this is a real Charmer!! Wonderful colors and I wish it was in my back yard.
So glad to hear that he is doing better. Prayers continued.
Sad-sad-sad and yet glorious. What stories it might tell. MB
I agee with Theresa about "barnage" and "fencery." ;-) This is one fascinating barn....I'm really curious about the white parts!
I love the color and the texture too. Happy Monday.

Wow that is just crazy :)
That's a rugged looking barn with marvelous textures and wood grain. It is eye-catching! Fine post.
That poor old barn has certainly seen better days.
I don't think this barn will make it through the next wind storm. But I still love the pictures.
Great shots and editing!! Lovin Barn Charm,,,thanks for hosting it :)
That is one of the roughest looking barns I have ever seen. Being shingled is a bit unusual for a barn I would think.
What an interesting barn. Especially the way the underlying wood runs at an angle. It must have been quite a sight in its heyday.
Glad that your nephew is home and doing better.
That is such a cool old barn! I love all the different ways you captured it...wonderful work!
I love that barn, Tricia! That is fantastic! It has tons of character. Great, great photos!
Happy to hear Landon is doing better!
This barn has lots of neat patterns and textures. Beautiful captures and amazing post processing Tricia!
I'm glad that your nephew Landon is much better.
Your barn photos are very good.
Regards and best wishes
I LOVE the new words! This barn must have been quite a beauty in her day - but even now, as the paint is peeling and the boards are rotting, there is a charm that cannot be denied. And I really like what you did with the last photograph! Again, thank you for hosting Barn Charm - I really enjoy it!
Love this barn! This one is living the remainder of its life with flair---the patched places/plain wood against the red adds pattern and pizazz---kind of like an old guy with a checked sport coat, bow tie, and Fred Astaire hat or an elderly lady with a patterned caftan and colorful jewelry. My imagination is on overdrive, I guess.
oh wow, that is a gorgeous barn tricia...love the pattern....so happy that cute landon is on the mend!
That one has definitely seen better days, hasn't it? Love what's left of the red paint!
Tricia poor old barn! A blustery Pooh like kind of wind could hurt her. Love your shots and the texture of the wood and the brick shingle like siding is amazing and eye catching. Love your editing too.
Glad Landon is doing well! Hip Hip HooRay!!
Interesting that they sided the barn with the lumber running diagonal to the center line...
SO glad for Landon and the whole family!
Amazing and kinda eerie how the paint is coming off that barn!!
My oh my, love the light in your first frame!
I immediately saw a patchwork quilt. What a majestic barn. Here's to hoping someone loves her enough to give her a facelift.
Once again my little barn link didn't load correctly. I must be doing something wrong!

Looks like a peeling sunburn. I like the first shot where the old gal is sitting all alone out in the field.
I love old barns!
Every one of them is beautiful!
Deborah :)
What a fascinating barn you feature this week; I am intrigued by the "skin" peeling away to reveal the chevron construction beneath.
Great deconstruction!
Love this blog party -- thanks!

Wowee-wow-wow! So much character is this crazy quilt barn. Pretty amazing. Glad to hear Landon is doing better.
I love these!!
It's like a crazy quilt! I love all the patches.
wow, it's really neat how the old siding (shingling?) is pealing off to reveal the unique angle of the boards. i would have hated to cover those in the first place. (but i suppose barn-building are thinking function over visual appeal.)
...and i just read your word verify description! that's pretty interesting, AND sneaky. i had no idea. thanks for cluing me in!
Aha! Love the word plethora.
Great barn Tricia, though I think it's sadly lacking in lovin'. Now I'm back from my blogging break I'll be on the lookout for barns, fences and the like... hubby had 2 weeks off work in another week, so we will be out exploring :)
I absolutely love the barn photos! I wish someone would make a coffee table book of 'old barns'.
Absolutley stunning!!!
