Ellsinore's Old Tram Road

October 13th 2012

They've long since removed the tracks,
but all of these pics are shots of the same road where a train used to cut through the woods
near Hwy 60 West between Poplar Bluff & Ellsinore, Missouri.

What a beautiful road. I can just imagine a train traveling down that road.

What a pretty road! Most of the railroad tracks in Canada (the whole country!) have been taken up and turned into the Trans Canada Trail. You can pretty well walk from one end of the country to the other on it. It's beautiful but we don't have many trains left!

You have some of the most inviting old roads through some of the most beautiful woods! I would love to ride along them!

I so wish I could find some beautiful paths here! What size lens are you using? It's wonderful for your landscapes.

I'm not sure why these kinds of pathway pictures are so appealing to me. I imagine it is because they represent possibilities down the road. These are wonderful!!

Removal of the tracks left a potential roadway that has turned into a great looking narrow road. A very good series.

Beautiful shots and a wonderful bible verse. What an awesome train ride that would have been through those colorful trees.

Tricia, I am happy you checked out my current events blog. To your question, I would answer that that is my personal belief, yes. But, that is definitely something everyone needs to decide for themselves. Take care....we all need to pray and care for each other in the coming times.
