A Few Favorite Christmas Decorations & Mushy Gushy Thank Yous!

Mom's Christmas Tree - Couldn't decide which edit, so you get both.
Thank you Madge for hosting this awesome meme! =)
Weekly Top Shot

My favorite snowman (a candle can be lit inside on the bottom) & my favorite WoodWick Candle-Fireside.
I just got that candle in the fall & it's already over half gone... I love the smell & burn it a lot!

2 separate shots of my favorite wreath - one in color & one in platinum... I'm lovin platinum.

I'm linking these collages to Mosaic Monday
That's a pic of my mama when she was younger in a Mason jar of oil...
a cool idea I picked up on Pinterest

Some favorite Mason jars & a Kraft Parmesan cheese glass backlit by really bright lights...
most would probably use the lights as Christmas lights,
but I keep em up cuz of the open shelving in my kitchen.
I think these are the last of my Christmas pics, but if I find more I'll definitely post em!
I've learned a lot this Christmas season about 'lighting' settings & shooting indoors
& I'm having fun with it, as you can tell... note there's no orange glow! YaY!
I've never taken or posted so many indoor pics in the whole 4 (almost 5) years I've been blogging
& I have several to thank for their help & patience,
but mainly the person who granted this awesome camera to me...
I didn't know how cool it all was until that door of a DSLR camera was opened to me!
Thank you muches & bunches from the top to the bottom of my heart
to that special person who wishes to remain anonymous.

Happy Happy New Year to All! =)

Fantastic photos ! It is fun just to get snapping isn't it ? DSLR cameras are a wonderful invention I think better then my old 35mm Minolta I used to use by far and I don't have to develop my own film any more WOOHOO ! So much faster and easier ! Glad to see and hear you are having fun with your camera that's what it is all about ! Have a Happy New Year If I don't catch up to you before then !

I have no idea what DSLR stands for, but it enables you to take evem more awesome photos than before and that's saying a lot!
My favorite is the wreath in color, but I'm a 'sucker' for mason jars so that's my 2nd favorite.
My photos didn't turn out as well; I have a lot to learn still, but some are good.

The orange glow is off the walls at my place with the orange pine wood paneling. It's getting more orange by the minute...ackkk...I'll have to take lessons where you've been taking lessons.

Beautiful photography...I prefer color so thanks for including those. Your mama in oil, eh? Now that's interesting.
