Ornaments & Snow Updates

told ya I had stuffed M&Ms! =)

boy, did I mess up on this one! LoL!
It's a fiber optics Christmas palm tree...
I might have moved a tad, ya think?

We got snow, but not the blizzard they predicted... maybe 4 inches or so.
The winds howled Christmas night, but no blizzard conditions.
We didn't get snowed in & I drove to work the next day.
It dropped to 20 last night & froze,
so I was more worried about driving to work this morning,
but I didn't have any problems, except backing out of my driveway
cuz of the snow plows. =0

I decided to decorate the blog in festive neon New Year's colors!
Very colorful! =)
Not sure how long I'll be able to deal with it, but we'll see.

Well, I have to wear bifocals, now.
Got em back today... love the glasses, hate the bifocals!
Thanks to my daughter, I got a really niiice pair for Christmas! =)

Love the M&M's and the neon look!

I think 4 inches of snow is even better than a blizzard!

Beautiful photos of your ornaments! The M&Ms are adorable, just hanging out enjoying the holiday. Glad to hear you missed the blizzard. Four inches is enough to give you some good photo ops, especially since your temps are warm enough to be out for a while.

Pretty ornaments, I thought of doing the same thing but haven't yet. We are getting snow right now and it looks so pretty.

You're so nice to post the picture you"goofed" on...it's nice to know you are NOT perfect, like I thought. lol I love ALL your pictures. You have gotten really good at taking pictures of ornaments. Your practice paid off! I wear trifocals, and let me tell you, I am THANKFUL for them EVERY DAY!!! I would be practically blind without them.
We have no snow here, but have a muddy mess....not enough rain to help, just enough to make my kitchen a horror movie scene every time my three dogs go out and come back in....thanks to the drought the last two years, our grass has just disappeared in the back, so it is normally just dirt...add a tiny bit of moisture, and wella! You have sticky mud that cakes on dog's paws and comes inside. YUCK. I'd rather have a blizzard!

Pretty ornaments! You had about 3 inches more snow than we did. We had that howling wind too.

I'm dizzy--but in a good way! As for bifocals, they don't have to be an issue. Just buy the finest no-lines your daughter can afford. :-) I treat my glasses as jewelry since I wear them all the time--want them to be really good-lookin'

You have some real ornament treasures that must be a pleasure to get out every year.

Great photos, Tricia! Even the last one is cool and funky. What a nice gift to get a snazzy new pair of glasses. You'll get used to the bifocals soon. Be safe out on those roads!!

I think your festive decorations look great...and certainly brighten that "slump" that can sneak in on us following Christmas. I enjoyed your update on the snowy conditions.

Those M&Ms made me chuckle. Glad you only got 4 inches. But, boy, does it sound cold up there!

Trica, I love you cute M&M's. I am glad you did not get the bad part of the storm. It seemed to miss us some too, we had like 2 inches. I wish you all the best in 2013 and have a Happy New Years.
