I'm floored, because we rarely get snow, much less a blizzard!

Merry Christmas Tricia! I hope you do get some snow. We had three inches here last night and more is coming down now.
Merry Christmas to you, Tricia! We have a white Christmas in Eastern WA, too!

Sounds like you're gonna have a snowy holiday!

SO wish we were getting some snow today... enjoy yours for me, okay? Love that little Santa... Hoping you and yours have a wonderful day together to celebrate the meaning of Christmas ~ faith, family and friends. Thanks for coming by to share on Christmas Cheer #1!
How special that you are getting snow! We had thunderstorms and tornado watches all day. A/C on all day too and now the fireplace is going. What a day! Wishing you a very blessed Christmas and new year!!
I love blizzards when I don't need to be somewhere, there's something really special about being snowed in at home! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Tricia. Enjoy the snow!
I like these Christmas images. Hope you had a white Christmas. Ours was dull and gray and today we're just getting some messy, icy, sleety stuff.
A fine seasonal greeting. I hope you blizzard is beautiful and has many photo opportunities but no problem in the aftermath. Let us know how it came off.
beautiful pictures and merry christmas come over and visit us at http://shopannies.blogspot.com
No white Christmas here, last year we had our blizzard!! Lots of rain, I prefer the white stuff!!
Thanks for stopping by...Darling Santa photo and I love the lighting on the wreath.
Thanks for stopping by.....nice lighting on all of the photos. Cute Santa!
Are you snowed in? Daughter didn't get one flake in north west arkansas.... we got the blizzard in central part of the state...bummer! ha
Wonderful Christmas cheer in these lovely shots.
The lighting is long exposure, in the dark, with at f22, ISO 100. I played with several lengths of time and I can't remember exactly but probably around 25" - 30". I used a tripod and a timer to avoid camera shake. I may have even done some light painting on that one. I took a flashlight and painted light on the figures I wanted to stand out. You don't have to shine the light on the figures the entire time- paint like you would with a brush. This is all new to me so I'm not an expert. I saw a photo with the radiant lights and I wanted to try one. You have some beautifully lit decorations to try it on.
Oh, and because it was pretty dark I had to shine a flashlight on the area I wished to focus on. I think you could manually focus the camera and then turn the lights off. I'm an amateur so you probably know more about this than I do:-). Happy shooting!!
Very beautiful photography!
