Still practicing shooting inside trying to get aperture, shutter speed & ISO right...
f/5.6 1/4 ISO 400.
It's been fun, but honestly a lil frustrating at times, too, when I think I got it
& the proof in the shot proves otherwise.
However, I'm working on it & determined to get better!
And, by golly, I will have fun or what's the point in this?

Lovely capture of the light, Tricia!
Nice shot and beautiful lighting. One of these days (when I get a decent camera) I will have to learn all this.
I think it's a wonderful shot... very film-ish, Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #61! PS: There's a book on Amazon called understanding exposure that is very helpful in learning how to tweak one's settings.
Looking good Tricia, tho your photos always do.
I really like this. B&W was a great choice. Nice lighting and textures. I'd buy it, if it was a print for sale.
Beautiful shot!
Great shot! It is frustrating shooting in manual sometimes, but also fun! If you're not having fun then go back to auto! haha.
My kind of decor!
Hi Tricia, if you are ever really stuck just hola over and i will help where i can. If you are shooting handheld you dont really want the shutter speed to drop below 1/125 sec if possible, this might mean you bumping the ISO to 800 or so, failing that you can open the Aperture out to f/4.5 (allow more light and up the shutter speed)
If you are on a tripod then ISO 100/200 is the max you you need. f/5.6 is perfect for this. the shutter speed can be anything from 1/25 sec right through to BULB and the image will still be sharp and exposed correctly.
Remember, Manual is King and always shoot RAW ;)
Oh BTW, that is a lovely image. Composed very well.
Beautiful B&W!
Also I love the picture of the flag and cross!!!
