That pocket watch no longer keeps time but shows love. The hands of a clock cannot show love, only counts the seconds that loved ones have gone. With no time love can never age. Have a beautiful day. Shaun
I can so relate Tricia. My Dad gave me an old pocket watch when my son was born. It was the best present he ever gave me because I know he gave it from his heart. These small treasures keep our loved ones close even though they themselves are gone. Happy New Year to you!
You took that with the Rebel, didn't you? This is a beautiful shot and I love the conversion to b&w. It's really beautiful even without the hands. What a special family heirloom.

A keepsake, for sure - beautiful!
I do too... what a treasure! I wonder how many times his hands touched it over the years...
lucky you!
You are so lucky to have this. What a treasure!
How special to have displayed even if it doesn't work, I have a few old things from my grand parents that I treasure!
Beautiful photos of your grandpa's watch. A precious treasure.
I have my Grandpa's pocket watch..its in a frame hanging on the wall in my sitting room, along with some old keys he had! Great shot Trish!

That's an awesome keepsake! It wouldn't matter if it didn't work any longer, I'd want to keep it, too. Great photo!
This is great. I have a similar watch, I think it belonged to my great grandfather once.
I love it to!
Hope you have a Happy New Year!
Hugs Lotta
A great keepsake regardless of its condition. Nice close up of it too.
That IS precious! I have my grandfather's wristwatch, and it's more precious than all the gold in the world.
A wonderful memento.
What a nice keepsake Does that say 1959 on the cover?
David Oliver: No, it's 8939 is the numbers... I'm sure it's much older than 1959
i love this shot - worth a lot of money too, i'm sure... but the memories and sentimental value is priceless =)
A beautiful image and I am sure no matter it's condition, it holds many wonderful memories.

It's beautiful! I have my grandmothers old watch. It was a pocket watch but was made into a pendant. It still keeps time when wound.
